School members enjoy a discovery field trip visit at the museum for each classroom.
School members enjoy a discovery field trip visit at the museum for each classroom. These trips includes a variety of lesson plans, exploration of our interactive exhibits, classroom instruction, and dining areas. Museum visits include a take home sheet with activities and information for parents to explore the subject with their children.
In lieu of a trip to the museum, we also offer classroom visits. For a nominal fee of $25, we can accommodate up to 3 separate class lessons in a single visit. The field trips are taught by our education staff, who have experience in bringing science to life in understandable and engaging lesson plans.
As an additional benefit, your school may rent our facility for a private event for a special rental fee of $75.00 for 2 hours, with additional 30 minutes of set up time. The Orpheum can best accommodate up to 75 children (plus chaperones) for private special events.
